I have received a Captivate 2019 file, created by a 3rd party and I am trying to update it. There is a slide with multiple state view objects which the user clicks on, it turns green and text is displayed explaining the object. When all objects have been clicked on, the Next button is displayed for the user to move to the next slide.

To update the content, I have added another object which also needs to turn green when clicked. I believe I have copied all the steps set up for the other objects but this new one just does not turn green when clicked. However when all the objects have been clicked, I can move to the next slide. Any thoughts on what I might have missed?

Many thanks

Kay

Were you able to push this to the finish line?

Without seeing which type of actions and the content of those actions it is impossible to help you out.

I would have used shared actions for sure, but that may not be the case for you.  Please insert a screenshot of an original advanced or shared action and your new version for the new multistate object. There are many ways to created forced views…
