I downloaded the trial of Adobe Captivate.  I have something that appeared on my desktop called Adobe Extractor.  I extracted the files.  Now what?  How can I begin using Captivate.  When I go to my account I see requests for free trails of everything else, but I don’t see anything about Captivate. How do I start using it?

Seconding the above comment, if file extraction is complete and download went well, search the software by its name.

Did you launch the installer after extraction? Which OS do you use? Do you not see a CP icon somewhere?

I am confused by your sentence about requests for trials, because you first told you already downloaded the trial?
