Ran across a problem. Copying images from Acrobat Pro to PowerPoint to storyboard script of learning object. Import of Powerpoint will not bring in the images imported into Powerpoint from Acrobat. If I save as image and update, they will work. The images are not visible in the preview of the individual slides. This is on a Macbook Pro. If I have time I will see if the same problem will occur on a PC. Captivate 2017 and Powerpoint 16, Acrobat 2018
Je ne comprends pas pourquoi vous utilisez PPT comme intermédiaire exactement. Les applications MS je ne les utilisent pas pour la gestion des images.
With the copy and paste from Acrobat, I am not determining the file format. When I save as from inside Powerpoint I use *png. My preference, because I prefer a format that can support alpha/transparency. Still it is an unnecessary workflow step. If there is one priority I prefer to be able to save a Word, or even a Acrobat PDF file from Captivate to send to my subject matter experts.
We use powerpoint for storyboarding with our Subject Matter Experts. Plus the export to MS Word from Captivate does not work on a Mac. I would love to skip a step. I think it is an import issue from Captivate. I can zip up the powerpoint file and see that the images are all in the file.
Why do you not import them directly into Captivate? I don’t uinderstand why you use PPT as intermediate. MS apps are well known for not being very good at managing images at all. Please design in Captivate. What is the image format used, because copy/paste is also not a very good practice. Captivate supports GIF, PNG, JPEG and SVG for sure. Which format?
